MedImpact’s business model is unique: avoiding conflicts of interest by not dispensing drugs. Our focus is effectively managing client pharmacy benefits, which results in better trend management and improved outcomes. We work with clients to direct prescribing to the lowest-net-cost, medically appropriate drug.
Over the past 25 years MedImpact has developed and operated its own, proprietary and highly-flexible claims adjudication platform. This control allows us to be very flexible and responsive to client requirements without the complications caused by typical vendor/provider subcontracted relationships most PBMs have.
